Join us in celebrating the 48th anniversary of the Atlanta Film Festival, taking place from April 25th to May 5th, 2024. We are thrilled to announce that submissions are now open!

For the 2024 ATLFF Screenplay Competition, we are seeking fresh and captivating storytelling that pushes boundaries. We want characters that surprise and challenge the audience, words that leap off the page, and narratives that take unexpected twists and turns, much like a winding country road. This year, we welcome submissions in three categories: feature scripts, short scripts, and pilot scripts. Feel free to submit your work in multiple categories if you wish.

To be considered for ATLFF '24, screenplays must adhere to the requirements of their respective categories, and filmmakers must complete the submission process along with the required payment. If you have any questions, please refer to our Screenplay Submissions FAQ for more information.

*Attention Georgia filmmakers and screenwriters: We are pleased to offer a discount for Georgia films and screenplays. Before submitting, we invite you to visit atlantafilmfestival.com/gafilm to check if your project qualifies. Additionally, non-live-action films are eligible for the discount if the director is a Georgia resident and the film was partially produced in Georgia.
